    AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator is a four-day associate-level course for IT professionals seeking to become competent Azure administrators. It is ideal for system admins, cloud architects, and security engineers who wish to gain knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing, managing, and monitoring identity, governance, storage, and virtual networks in an organization’s Microsoft Azure environment.


    You will learn how to secure identities with Azure Active Directory. You will explore how to implement users and groups, manage subscriptions and accounts, implement Azure policies, and use Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). You will investigate various tools, including the Azure portal, Cloud Shell, Azure PowerShell, CLI, and Resource Manager Templates.


    You will build your knowledge of virtual networking, intersite connectivity, network traffic management, Azure storage, and Azure virtual machines. You will discover how to administer serverless computing features like Azure App Service, Azure Container Instances, and Kubernetes. And you will extend your knowledge of data protection and monitoring.


    Overall, this course will prepare you for taking the AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator certification exam. Entry for the exam is not included. However, you will get a clear overview of the Microsoft certification process, plus you will get tips and tricks, testing strategies, practice questions, and useful information to help you pass the exam successfully.

    This course comprises 47 purposely designed modules that take you on a carefully defined learning journey.

    It is an instructor-led course which runs to a fixed schedule, with set start and finish dates. It is driven forward by your instructor and features live sessions that are aired at a set time. You will, however, have time to complete certain activities at your own pace outside of the live sessions.

    The materials for each module are accessible from the start of the course and will remain available for the duration of your enrollment. Methods of learning and assessment will include reading material, hands-on labs and online practice exam questions.
