The Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Program is an intermediate to advanced level program that covers two key Azure courses - AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator, and AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions. It is ideal for IT professionals and administrators who are looking to work with Azure at an advanced level. Please note, to become a Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft stipulates that you must gain AZ-104: Azure Admin certification first.
The program starts with AZ-104, where you will learn to manage Azure subscriptions, oversee infrastructure, secure identities, set up virtual networking, and link Azure and on-premises sites. Additionally, you will explore how to manage network traffic, plus you will discover how to deploy storage options, use web apps and containers, build and scale virtual machines, backup and share data, and manage a solution.
You will then progress on to AZ- 305, where you will look at designing infrastructure solutions. You will dive into application architecture, governance, storage, and data integration, plus compute, authentication, business continuity, networks, and migrations.
As the program nears the end, you will then access our valuable career services. These are detailed below. You will also be ready to take the two exams, AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator, and AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions. On passing these exams, you will earn your Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certifications.
Please note, entry for the exams is not included. However, you will get a clear overview of the Microsoft certification process. Plus, you will get tips and tricks, testing strategies, practice questions, projects for hands-on experience, and other useful information to help you pass the exams successfully.
This Microsoft program comprises two purposely designed courses that take you on a carefully defined learning journey.
It is an instructor-led program which runs to a fixed schedule, with set start and finish dates. It is driven forward by your instructor and features live sessions that are aired at a set time. You will, however, have time to complete certain activities at your own pace outside of the live sessions.
The materials for each module are accessible from the start of each course and will remain available for the duration of your enrollment. Methods of learning and assessment will include reading material, hands-on labs, and online practice exam questions.
