PL-900: Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals is a one-day, beginner-level course for software developers, application developers, and business intelligence professionals. You will learn about Microsoft Power Platform's business value and product capabilities, and how it improves productivity through automating processes and building solutions.
During this course, you will learn how to make simple Power Apps. You will explore how Dataverse differs from Common Data Model, in terms of environments, tables, columns, and relationships. You will discover how businesses use Power Apps to digitize their solution building processes. You will investigate how Power BI works to clean and analyze data to enable more informed decisions, and how to build a dashboard. Plus, you will explore the benefits and functionality of Power Automate and Power Virtual Agents, and learn about the different ways to build chatbots.
This course will prepare you for the PL-900 certification exam. It also provides the base for other job-role based courses and certifications. Entry for the exam is not included. However, you will get a clear overview of the Microsoft certification process and tips and tricks, testing strategies, practice questions, and useful information to help you pass the exam.
This course comprises six purposely designed modules that take you on a carefully defined learning journey.
It is an instructor-led course which runs to a fixed schedule, with set start and finish dates. It is driven forward by your instructor and features live sessions that are aired at a set time. You will, however, have time to complete certain activities at your own pace outside of the live sessions.
The materials for each module are accessible from the start of the course and will remain available for the duration of your enrollment. Methods of learning and assessment will include reading material, hands-on labs, and online exam questions.
