PL-600: Power Platform Solution Architect is a three-day, advanced-level course for solution architects, functional/technical senior consultants, and professionals looking for in-depth knowledge of Power Platform.
During this course, you will learn about the design, implementation, and adoption solutions available to solution architects considering security and integration aspects, including the architecture of Power Apps and Power Automate.
You will learn how to collect design requirements by applying fit-gap analysis and blueprinting the solution architecture. You will explore the scenarios that can cause a project to fail, notwithstanding project governance and working as a team. You will understand the key components of Power Platform architecture, data modeling, Power BI, and Enterprise BI.
Additionally, this course covers Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and discusses automation logics, triggers, and Business Process Flows (BPF) for guiding users through business processes. You will learn how to understand a client’s environment, control access to CDS Data, and how to use CDS Event Publishing. You will study chatbots, Power Virtual Agents architecture, and Robotic Process Automation. Plus, you will build your understanding of the role of the solution architect with respect to requirement gathering, building solutions, security modeling, integration, testing and going live.
Overall, this course will prepare you for taking the PL-600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect certification exam. Entry for the exam is not included. However, you will get a clear overview of the Microsoft certification process. You will also get tips and tricks, testing strategies, practice questions, and helpful information to help you pass the exam successfully.
This course comprises 15 purposely designed modules that take you on a carefully defined learning journey.
It is an instructor-led course which runs to a fixed schedule, with set start and finish dates. It is driven forward by your instructor and features live sessions that are aired at a set time. You will, however, have time to complete certain activities at your own pace outside of the live sessions.
The materials for each module are accessible from the start of the course and will remain available for the duration of your enrollment. Methods of learning and assessment will include reading material, hands-on labs, and online exam questions.
