PL-200: Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant is a four-day intermediate-level course. The course focuses on how to perform discovery and capture requirements, engage subject matter experts and stakeholders, translate requirements, and configure Microsoft Power Platform solutions and apps.
During this course, you will explore the essential components of Power Platform and learn how to connect to data. You will build a Power Apps model-driven app and canvas app that considers user experience. You will discover how to use Dataverse data in Power App portals, whilst taking account of portal access to users. You will be introduced to Power Automate and learn how to configure business rules, security roles, plus how to create and approve cloud flows including triggers and actions. You will learn how to develop and automate business process flows using Business Process Flow Designer. You will establish how to use Power Virtual Agents to automate customer interactions with a chatbot. You will explore Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service to analyze data and create visualizations and dashboards. And you will become familiar with AI Builder and learn how to use all the concepts picked up in this course to work as a functional consultant on Microsoft Power Platform engagements.
Overall, this course will prepare you for taking the Microsoft Certified: PL-200 Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate certification exam. It will also give you the firm base you need to consider expert-level certification next. Please note, entry for the exam is not included. However, you will get a clear overview of the Microsoft certification process. You will also get tips and tricks, testing strategies, practice questions, and helpful information to help you pass the exam successfully.
This course comprises twelve purposely designed modules that take you on a carefully defined learning journey.
It is an instructor-led course which runs to a fixed schedule, with set start and finish dates. It is driven forward by your instructor and features live sessions that are aired at a set time. You will, however, have time to complete certain activities at your own pace outside of the live sessions.
The materials for each module are accessible from the start of the course and will remain available for the duration of your enrollment. Methods of learning and assessment will include reading material, hands-on labs, and online exam questions.
