DP-050 is a two-day intermediate-level course for data professionals who define data platform modernization and identify business requirements.
During this DP-050 course you will learn about the various stages, technologies, and paths involved in a data platform migration. You will explore how migration paths differ and discover how to assess the best option for your project. You will also build your understanding and knowledge of the various migration tools that can be used to assess compatibility and workload issues using Microsoft Data Migration Assistant and Database Experimentation Assistant.
Additionally, you will learn how to migrate SQL workloads to Azure VM, Azure SQL Databases and managed instances. Plus, you will build your understanding of how to implement high availability and disaster recovery SQL Server workloads to ensure service continuity including offline and online migrations.
Overall, this course will prepare you for taking the DP-050: Migrate NoSQL Workloads to Azure certification exam. Entry for the exam is not included. However, you will get a clear overview of the Microsoft certification process, plus you will get tips and tricks, testing strategies, practice questions, and useful information to help you pass the exam successfully.
This course comprises 5 purposely designed modules that take you on a carefully defined learning journey.
It is an instructor-led course which runs to a fixed schedule, with set start and finish dates. It is driven forward by your instructor and features live sessions that are aired at a set time. You will, however, have time to complete certain activities at your own pace outside of the live sessions.
