Googles extensive cloud offering is growing in demand. This Google Cloud Infrastructure Fundamentals course helps you build essential skills for navigating Google Cloud's infrastructure services.
Through a series of hands-on labs, you will build a strong practical understanding of how to utilize Cloud Shell and gcloud for efficient cloud management. You will learn to deploy and manage virtual machines with Compute Engine. You will explore how to store and retrieve data using Cloud Storage, and leverage SQL for data analysis with BigQuery and Cloud SQL. Plus, you will investigate the fundamentals of containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes Engine, and dive into infrastructure as code principles using Terraform.
Overall, by the end of this course, you will have a solid understanding of Google Cloud's infrastructure components, and be able to build, deploy, and manage scalable applications with confidence. Plus, you will have valuable skills you can highlight on your resume and LinkedIn profile.
This course comprises four purposely designed modules that take you on a carefully defined learning journey. If you are thinking about taking the course separately, it is worth noting that it is part of the Google Cloud Security Engineer Program. So, you may want to consider enrolling for this program rather than just enrolling for one course at a time.
It is a self-paced course, which means it is not run to a fixed schedule with regard to completing modules or submitting assignments. It is anticipated that it will take about seven hours to complete. However, as long as the course is completed by the end of your enrollment, you can work at your own pace. And dont worry, youre not alone! You will be encouraged to stay connected with your learning community and mentors through the course discussion space.
The materials for each module are accessible from the start of the course and will remain available for the duration of your enrollment. Methods of learning and assessment will include reading material, hands-on labs, and online exams questions.
Once you have successfully completed the course, you will earn your Certificate of Completion.
