The world is powering up to leverage cloud computing and AI to improve customer service, reduce costs, and speed up decision making. As a result, organizations are hunting for engineers with the relevant skills so they too can join the race. They’re seeking individuals who can analyze AI requirements, recommend the best technologies, and design and implement scalable solutions. Put simply, Azure AI engineers are in demand.
In this program you will learn how to analyze requirements for AI solutions and recommend appropriate tools and technologies. You will discover how to design and implement AI solutions that meet scalability and performance requirements. Plus, you will learn and experience designing and implementing AI apps and agents that use Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Bot Service, Azure Cognitive Speech, and data storage in Azure.
In addition, you will build competence in recommending solutions that use open source technologies. You will explore the components that make up the Azure AI portfolio and the available data storage options. You will come to understand when a custom API should be developed to meet specific requirements. Plus, you will also get a more detailed overview of the Microsoft certification program.
For individuals keen to develop a career in AI, this program will provide you with the skills and knowlege you need to excel. Plus, it will prepare you for taking the certification exams if you wish to pursue that route in the future.
This program comprises three purposely designed courses that take you on a carefully defined learning journey.
It is an instructor-led program which runs to a fixed schedule, with set start and finish dates. It is driven forward by your instructor and features live sessions that are aired at a set time. You will, however, have time to complete certain activities at your own pace outside of the live sessions. And you will be encouraged to stay connected with your learning community, mentors, and instructors through the program discussion space.
Courses also include videos, hands-on labs, exercises, and knowledge checks. The materials for each course are accessible from the start of the course and will remain available for the duration of your enrollment.
Enrollment in the program includes all three courses. You cannot enroll for the courses separately. All three courses will prepare you for the associated Microsoft certification exams, but please note the exams are not included in this program. You will, however, get a detailed overview of the Microsoft certification process and discover tips and tricks, testing strategies, useful resources, and information on how to sign up for the proctored exams.

The Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate Program sponsored by PLU has been designed to be taken as a whole program. It offers a full review of the content covered by the 3 Microsoft certification exams: Fundamentals of AI: AI-900, Azure Fundamentals: AZ-900, and Designing and Implementing a Microsoft Azure AI Solution: AI-102. And it will prepare you for taking all 3 Microsoft certified exams in the future if you wish to do so.
The 3 instructor-led courses guide you through a carefully crafted learning journey, which means it would not be beneficial for you to enroll for an individual course. Therefore, if you wish to take a particular course, you will need to enroll for the full program.
Yes. The Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate Program sponsored by PLU is 100% online. You will not be required to attend any classes in person. With this in mind, however, you will therefore need to have appropriate access to the internet for the live sessions, and you will need the required technology to be able to use the program materials. The materials for the program are in the form of articles, videos, and knowledge checks.
If you're worried about learning alone, however, please don’t! You will be actively encouraged to connect with your mentors and instructors on the program through the discussion space. Plus, you will enjoy assisted mentoring outside the live sessions too.
The Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate Program sponsored by PLU is an instructor-led program. This means live sessions are aired at pre-set times, and the whole program starts and finishes on set dates. Your assignments will also be due on set dates. However, you will have the opportunity to enjoy some self-paced work as well, for you are able to complete certain activities in your own time.
To give you an idea of how much time you should allocate to your learning, the program lasts for 16 weeks, and we estimate that you will need to dedicate approximately 2 hours a week to your studies.
This version of the Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate Program, which is sponsored by PLU, has been designed to run as an instructor-led program. There will, however, also be some self-paced work learners need to do outside of the live classes. This means live sessions with an instructor take place at set times, and these live sessions will run to a pre-determined timetable. This is done in order to introduce topics in a way that is of most use to the learner. Thus, the order of the courses that you will see set out in your dashboard is the order that you will need to follow.
