Starting and building a career in a world that is in a state of flux is not easy. The global workplace is constantly changing. To succeed, its critical to understand the rules that are in play, and how to navigate those rules to deliver impact and presence.
This course focuses on creating individual strategies to drive growth and advancement. The concepts relating to career success in the virtual world are closely assessed, and emphasis is placed on how to understand the rules and use them to your advantage. Overall, you will learn how to leverage the benefits of remote working, without being hindered by the negative aspects it brings too, and in turn enjoy the prospect of a flourishing career.
For learners keen to develop tangible and actionable strategies for driving impact and presence in the virtual world, Creating Impact and Presence in the Virtual World will provide you with the tools you need to excel whilst operating remotely in a global workplace.
This career-changing course comprises four purposely designed modules that take you on a carefully defined development path.
It is an instructor-led program which runs to a fixed schedule, with set start and finish dates. It is driven forward by your instructor and features eight hours of interactive workshops through an online and interactive interface. You will, however, have time to complete an additional four hours of homework assignments in your own time outside of the live sessions.And you will be encouraged to stay connected with your learning community, mentors, and instructors through the program discussion space.
Your Certificate of Completion will be issued once you have successfully finished the course.
After completing this course, you will:

- Understand how to avoid the cons of working remotely.

There will be work you need to do to prepare for each workshop, therefore you will have the necessary access to the videos etc. to familiarize yourself with the relevant materials before the live workshops take place.
Once you have successfully completed the course, you will earn your PLU Certificate of Completion. And dont forget, you will also have discovered how to create impact and presence when working in a virtual world.
Creating Impact and Presence in the Virtual World is an instructor-led course. You will benefit from live workshops that are aired at pre-set times. Your assignments will also be due by set dates. However, you will have the opportunity to enjoy some self-paced work as well, for you will need to prepare for the workshops in your own time.
To give you an idea of how much time you should allocate to your learning, the course lasts for 4 weeks, and we estimate you need to dedicate approximately 2 hours a week to your studies.
