MS-100: Microsoft 365 Identity and Services is a five-day, expert level course designed for professionals who are seeking to become a Microsoft 365 Enterprise administrator. Attendees need to have already completed one of the Microsoft 365 role-based administrator certification courses. To be eligible, you should also have an understanding of domain name system (DNS) and functional experience of Microsoft 365 services.

During this course, you will learn how to manage a transition to Microsoft 365 (M365). This includes the plan for Microsoft 365 subscription, directory synchronization, and Azure AD Connect Pass-through Authentication. You will explore which migration strategy to use to move mail, calendar, and contact information. Plus, you will learn how to manage services and add-ins, manage user accounts and licenses, recover deleted user accounts, and implement domain services.

You will also build your knowledge of how to configure tenant roles and monitor an organization's Microsoft 365 service health in the Microsoft 365 admin center. You will come to understand how to plan an Office Telemetry installation and configure Workplace Analytics. You will learn how to select the right mail migration strategy for an organization. You will explore managing user licenses in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and PowerShell to provide Teams access; this will also cover running a Power App and administering Power Automate and Power BI. You will develop skills for setting up Azure AD Connect and performing tasks to synchronize identities. Plus, you will learn how to register and remove an application/services registration from your Azure AD tenant, and be able to demonstrate Azure B2B collaboration, and manage customer lockbox requests.

Overall, this course will prepare you for taking the MS-100: Microsoft 365 Identity and Services certification exam. To gain Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert certification, you should also pass the MS-101: Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security exam. Entry for the exams is not included. However, you will get the clear overview of the Microsoft certification process, plus you will get the tips and tricks, testing strategies, practice questions and useful information to help you pass the exam successfully.

This course comprises 6 purposely designed modules that take you on a carefully defined learning journey.

It is an instructor-led course which runs to a fixed schedule, with set start and finish dates. It is driven forward by your instructor and features live sessions that are aired at a set time.
