Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant is a four-day, intermediate course on Dynamics 365 Business Central for small and medium sized organizations and functional consultants. This course teaches you to manage finances, automate and secure supply chains, smart sell, improve customer service and project performance, and optimize operations. To get the most out of this course, you should have an understanding of industry terminology, priorities, standards, methodologies, and best practices.
During this course, you will explore Business Central and get an overview of the technology, including master data for the sales and purchase process. You will learn how to create and configure a new company and migrate data to Business Central with security considerations. You will configure financials, including setting up of finance management, charts of accounts, journals, currencies, cash management, accounts payables, and accounts receivables. You will build skills for setting up the inventory, inventory costing, sales/purchase pricing, and discounts. Plus, you will extend your knowledge of managing approvals with workflows, and integrating Business Central with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Overall, this course will prepare you for the MB-800: Business Central Functional Consultant certification exam. On passing the exam, you will become a Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate. Entry for the exam is not included. However, you will get a clear overview of the Microsoft certification process, including tips and tricks, testing strategies, practice questions, and valuable information to help you pass the exam.
This course comprises 6 purposely designed modules that take you on a carefully defined learning journey.
It is an instructor-led course which runs to a fixed schedule, with set start and finish dates. It is driven forward by your instructor and features live sessions that are aired at a set time. You will, however, have time to complete certain activities at your own pace outside of the live sessions.
