DP-070: Migrate Open Source Data Workloads to Azure is a one-day intermediate-level course for database developers and MySQL/Postgres administrators. You will learn about Azure SQL Database and the requirements for migrating open-source data workloads, i.e. MySQL and PostgreSQL to Azure SQL Database.
During the course you will become familiar with open-Source databases (OSS) and the architecture of Azure SQL DB. You will explore the challenges customers face during migration. You will discover how to install MySQL and Postgres migration DB servers. You will investigate backups/database dumps from MySQL/Postgres and how to restore from database dumps. Plus, you will learn how to migrate on-premises MySQL and PostgreSQL to Azure SQL, including the configuration, source and target DBs, and post-migration considerations.
Overall, this course will help you to prepare for the DP-070: Migrate Open Source Data Workloads to Azure certification exam. Entry for the exam is not included. However, you will get a clear overview of the Microsoft certification process, plus you will get tips and tricks, testing strategies, practice questions, and useful information to help you pass the exam successfully.
