This course provides you with the essential skills and knowledge you need to manage networking and security within Windows Server environments. Plus, you'll look at implementing and managing on-premises and hybrid networking infrastructures. The course is designed to help you understand some of the fundamental concepts evaluated in the AZ-800 Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure exam.

During this course, you will look at how to implement Domain Name System (DNS) and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP). You will learn how to manage IP address allocation, configure and manage virtual private networks (VPNs), and establish and manage public key infrastructures (PKIs). Plus, you will look at how to set up and manage Network Policy Server (NPS) and Web Application Proxy (WAP), as well as configure file servers and Storage Spaces.

The course also covers implementing data deduplication and configuring Internet Small Computer System Interface (iSCSI). You will learn to deploy and configure Windows Server Storage Replica to ensure high availability. Moreover, the course provides valuable insights into tools and services such as IP Address Management (IPAM), Azure ExpressRoute, Azure File Sync, Windows Admin Center, and PowerShell.

Overall, this course is ideal for IT professionals, network administrators, and system architects preparing for the AZ-800 exam. It equips you with the skills needed to effectively manage networking and security in both on-premises and hybrid Windows Server environments.

We recommend completing these courses in sequence to fully understand the material.

This course comprises three modules that take you on a carefully defined learning path. It is a self-paced course, which means it is not run on a fixed schedule with regard to completing modules or submitting assignments. To give you an idea of how long the course takes to complete, it is anticipated that if you work 1-2 hours per week, you will complete the course in 3 weeks. However, as long as the course is completed before the end date, you can work at your own pace.

The materials for each module will become available when you start the particular module. Methods of learning and assessment will include videos, reading material, and a graded assignment.

Once you have successfully completed the course, you will earn your Certificate of Completion.

  • Understand how to manage IP addressing in on-premises and hybrid scenarios.
  • Know the ways to implement on-premises and hybrid network connectivity.
