This course is designed to help you understand the fundamental concepts evaluated in the migration to SAP S/4HANA.
In this course, you will explore the transition from older ERP products to SAP S/4HANA, which is exclusively run on SAP's proprietary in-memory database, SAP HANA. Introduced in 2015 as SAP's fourth-generation ERP product, SAP S/4HANA offers a range of deployment options, including cloud-based, on-premises, or hybrid approaches.
As you progress through the course, you will learn about core architectural concepts in SAP S/4HANA, such as standout features, and data modeling. You will also build your knowledge of various development tools and techniques, including SQL Script, extract, transform, load (ETL), reporting, and analytics.
Additionally, the course provides insights into functional modules of SAP S/4HANA, such as designing enterprise structures, Fiori apps, implementation, and statutory and MIS reporting. Finally, you will be guided through the distinct phases of software development on SAP S/4HANA, including requirement gathering, testing, and migration.
Overall, this course is ideal for professionals helping their organization to transition to SAP S/4HANA. It is designed for IT professionals, ERP consultants, and business analysts who manage enterprise processes and systems.
This course comprises three modules that take you on a carefully defined learning path. It is a self-paced course, which means it is not run on a fixed schedule with regard to completing modules or submitting assignments. To give you an idea of how long the course takes to complete, it is anticipated that if you work 1 hour per week, you will complete the course in 3 weeks. However, as long as the course is completed before the end date, you can work at your own pace.
The materials for each module will become available when you start the particular module. Methods of learning and assessment will include videos, reading material, and a graded assignment.
