This course is designed for professionals seeking to analyze and solve quality problems using Six Sigma methodologies, Lean principles, or other quality improvement projects.
It is specifically designed to help you prepare for the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) certification. The course content aligns with the Six Sigma Green Belt Body of Knowledge (BoK), providing a thorough overview of Lean Six Sigma principles, methodologies, and tools.Additionally, the course explains how Six Sigma principles and practices influence and align with the overall functioning of an organization. It looks at how to integrate Six Sigma methodologies into your organizational structure, culture, and strategic objectives.
By the end of this course, you will be able to apply the define, measure, analyze, improve, and control (DMAIC) improvement framework to your processes. You will also be prepared for questions on these topics in the ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB).
NOTE: You can also explore two additional courses specifically designed for ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) exam preparation. These are CSSGB Part 2: DMAIC Framework: Define and Measure Phase, and CSSGB Part 3: DMAIC Framework: Analyze, Improve, and Control Phase. These courses are designed to provide you with a thorough understanding of the associated content covered in the CSSGB exam. We recommend completing these courses in sequence to fully understand the material.
This course comprises four modules that take you on a carefully defined learning path. It is a self-paced course, which means it is not run on a fixed schedule with regard to completing modules or submitting assignments. To give you an idea of how long the course takes to complete, it is anticipated that if you work 2-4 hours per week, you will complete the course in 4 weeks. However, as long as the course is completed before the end date, you can work at your own pace.
The materials for each module will become available when you start the particular module. Methods of learning and assessment will include videos, reading material, and a graded assignment.
Once you have successfully completed the course, you will earn your Certificate of Completion.
