This course is designed for professionals who are preparing for the ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) Certification exam and looking to employ the DMAIC methodology within the Six Sigma framework to tackle quality issues effectively.

In this course, you will explore the Six Sigma Green Belt, focusing on the initial phases of DMAIC: define and measure. You'll build the foundational knowledge and skills essential for setting project objectives, gathering and analyzing data, and assessing the current state of processes.

As you progress through the course, you'll learn how to pinpoint improvement opportunities, capture customer feedback, and grasp fundamental project management principles. You'll also delve into vital project planning tools like work breakdown structure (WBS), Gantt charts, critical path method (CPM), documentation, risk analysis, and much more. Additionally, in the measure phase, you'll dive into statistical concepts and data collection methods. This includes understanding process analysis, probability fundamentals, various statistical distributions, and much more.

By the end of this course, you'll be well-versed in laying the groundwork for data-driven decision-making and effective process enhancement. You will also be prepared for questions on these topics in the ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB).

NOTE: You can also explore two additional courses specifically designed for ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) exam preparation. These are CSSGB Part 1: Introduction to Six Sigma and the Organization, and CSSGB Part 3: DMAIC Framework: Analyze, Improve, and Control Phase. These courses are crafted to provide you with a thorough understanding and the confidence required to excel in your CSSGB exam. We recommend completing these courses in sequence to fully understand the material.

This course comprises five modules that take you on a carefully defined learning path. It is a self-paced course, which means it is not run on a fixed schedule with regard to completing modules or submitting assignments. To give you an idea of how long the course takes to complete, it is anticipated that if you work 1-2 hours per week, you will complete the course in 5 weeks. However, as long as the course is completed before the end date, you can work at your own pace.

The materials for each module will become available when you start the particular module. Methods of learning and assessment will include videos, reading material, and a graded assignment.

Once you have successfully completed the course, you will earn your Certificate of Completion.
