AZ-700: Designing and Implementing Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions is a three-day intermediate level course for network engineers. It takes you through how to design and implement a reliable and secure network infrastructure in Azure.

During this AZ-700 training, you will learn how to implement virtual networks. You will investigate cross-VNET connectivity, virtual network routing, and an Azure virtual network NAT. You will learn how to configure public IP services and private and public DNS zones. You will design and implement site-to-site and point-to-site VPN connections, Azure Virtual WAN resources, and Azure Expressroute. You will also design and implement Azure load balancers, Azure Traffic Manager, Azure Application Gateway, Azure Front Door, and Azure Firewall. You will learn how to differentiate, design, and configure the Private Link Service and private endpoints. Plus, you will configure Azure Monitor for alerts and logging, a Connection Monitor instance, Traffic Analytics, NSG flow logs, and Azure Network Watcher.

This course will prepare you for the AZ-700 exam, and on passing the exam you will earn Azure Network Engineer Associate certification from Microsoft. Entry for the exam is not included. However, you will get a clear overview of the Microsoft certification process and get tips and tricks, testing strategies, practice questions, and useful information to help you pass the exam.

This course comprises eight purposely designed modules that take you on a carefully defined learning journey.

It is an instructor-led course which runs to a fixed schedule, with set start and finish dates. It is driven forward by your instructor and features live sessions that are aired at a set time. You will, however, have time to complete certain activities at your own pace outside of the live sessions.

The materials for each module are accessible from the start of the course and will remain available for the duration of your enrollment. Methods of learning and assessment will include reading material, hands-on labs, and online exam questions.

As part of our mentoring service you will have access to valuable guidance and support throughout the course. We provide a dedicated discussion space where you can ask questions, chat with your peers, and resolve issues.

Once you have successfully completed the course, you will earn your Certificate of Completion.

You will be able to:

  • Design, implement and manage hybrid network connections.
  • Design and implement core Azure networking infrastructure.
  • Design and implement routing and load balancing in Azure.
  • Secure and monitor networks.
  • Design and implement private access to Azure Services.

  • Network Engineers.
  • Individuals preparing for the AZ-700 exam.
  • People seeking extensive knowledge on networking, security, and diagnostics.

You need to have an understanding of:

On-premises virtualization technologies, including: VMs, virtual networking, and virtual hard disks.

Network configurations, including TCP/IP, Domain Name System (DNS), virtual private networks (VPNs), firewalls, and encryption technologies.

Software defined networking.

Hybrid network connectivity methods, such as VPN.

Resilience and disaster recovery, including high availability and restore operations.

This course teaches network engineers how to design, implement, and maintain Azure networking solutions.

The course covers the process of designing, implementing, and managing core Azure networking infrastructure, hybrid networking connections, load balancing traffic, network routing, private access to Azure services, network security and monitoring.

  • You will become familiar with topics such as designing, implementing, and managing hybrid network connections.
  • You will be able to design core Azure networking infrastructure.
  • You will be able to manage networking solutions for optimal performance, resiliency, scale, and security.

When you take this course, you will also get information and guidance on the Microsoft certification process, and useful tips on how to pass the exam. Once you have completed this course, you will be ready to take the AZ 700 certification exam to earn Designing and Implementing Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions certification.
