    AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions is a four-day course for professionals who are looking to work as a DevOps engineer, software developer, operations team member, project manager, or IT manager.

    During this course, you will gain knowledge and hands-on experience of agile planning and portfolio management with Azure Boards. You will learn about source control and how to migrate from Team Foundation Version Control (TFVC) to Git in Azure Repos. You will explore how to manage Technical Debt, and how to configure Azure Pipelines. And you will also discover how to integrate Azure Key Vault with Azure DevOps.

    In addition, you will become familiar with how to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment using Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions. You will also develop a good understanding of designing and implementing a dependency management strategy and release strategy. And you will learn how to implement a deployment pattern, as well as manage infrastructure using various Azure tools and third-party tools like Docker, Kubernetes etc. Finally, you will explore in detail key aspects such as system feedback mechanisms, implementing security in DevOps projects, and validating code bases for compliance.

    Overall, this course will prepare you for taking the AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions certification exam. Entry for the exam is not included. However, you will get a clear overview of the Microsoft certification process, plus you will get tips and tricks, testing strategies, practice questions, and useful information to help you pass the exam successfully.

    This course comprises 47 purposely designed modules that take you on a carefully defined learning journey.

    It is an instructor-led course which runs to a fixed schedule, with set start and finish dates. It is driven forward by your instructor and features live sessions that are aired at a set time. You will, however, have time to complete certain activities at your own pace outside of the live sessions.

    The materials for each module are accessible from the start of the course and will remain available for the duration of your enrollment. Methods of learning and assessment will include reading material, hands-on labs, and online exams questions.
