With the help of demonstrations and hands-on lab experiences, this 4-day AZ-140 course will help you understand virtual desktop experiences and remote apps.

You will learn how to deploy virtual desktop experiences and apps on Azure Virtual Desktop and how to optimize them to run in multi-session virtual environments. You will create session host images, implement and manage FSLogix, monitor Windows Virtual Desktop performance, and automate Windows Virtual Desktop management tasks.

You will learn to configure conditional access policies for connections to Azure Virtual Desktop (AD DS) and prepare for and design MSIX app packages. You will implement the MSIX app attach container for Azure Virtual Desktop in the AD DS environment. You will perform tasks for the disaster recovery plan for Azure Virtual Desktop and configure the automation process for Azure Virtual Desktop. Using Azure Monitor, you will monitor Azure Virtual Desktop, and for Azure Virtual Desktop monitoring, you will learn to customize Azure Workbooks. You will also investigate how to configure and verify auto-scaling of Azure Virtual Desktop session hosts.

Overall, this AZ-140 course will prepare you for taking the Configuring and Operating Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop exam. Entry for the exam is not included. However, you will get a clear overview of the Microsoft certification process. You will also get tips and tricks, testing strategies, practice questions, and valuable information to help you pass the exam successfully.

This course comprises five purposely designed modules that take you on a carefully defined learning journey.
