SkillUp Online, in partnership with IBM SkillsBuild, is offering a comprehensive 4-week programme designed to equip you with essential skills and knowledge to launch your career in artificial intelligence. This programme features a structured learning path that combines virtual, live instructor-led sessions with self-paced online modules.
The curriculum emphasises practical learning through hands-on exercises and a final project, providing a holistic educational experience. By the end of the programme, learners will apply their acquired knowledge to a real-world scenario, thereby solidifying their skills and enhancing their professional portfolios. Upon successful completion of the programme, learners will earn valuable credentials, including a globally recognised digital credential verified by Credly, an IBM SkillsBuild Completion Certificate, and an IBM SkillsBuild and SkillUp Online Completion Certificate, thereby providing a solid foundation to embark on a career in artificial intelligence.

This 4-week Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals programme includes:

Orientation session and closing ceremony
The programme provides a structured learning path through self-paced modules, focusing on the foundational skills in artificial intelligence. Throughout this programme, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of artificial intelligence and its integral role within modern technological ecosystems and the job landscape. Key areas of this programme includes natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, deep learning and computer vision.

Upon completion of the programme, you’ll receive a globally recognised digital credential verified by Credly, an IBM SkillsBuild Completion Certificate, and an IBM SkillsBuild and SkillUp Online Completion Certificate. IBM SkillsBuild Digital Credentails can be added to learners’ LinkedIn profile and shared with their network, highlighting professional development. They are portable, verifiable, can trace back to the skills acquired, and help learners stand out to potential employers.
Learner journey:
Registration: Only IBM SkillsBuild’s partner network learners are eligible to take part in this programme. Please contact your organisation for a registration link. You can find further guidance on the registration process here.
Orientation session: To qualify for this programme, you must participate in the orientation session. The link to the orientation session will be shared with you after your enrollment.
Invitation to the course learning plan and online webinars: After your orientation session participation is recorded, you'll be invited to attend four technical instructor-led sessions and engage in a self-paced online course.
Self paced learning: You will have time to complete all self-paced learning after orientation session till Closing Ceremony day. All the learning resources included in the learning plan (self-paced learning, webinars’ presentations, and instructor-led session recordings) will be available to all the learners for 2 weeks after the Closing Ceremony.
Attendance in all instructor-led webinars: Attendance in all instructor-led webinars is obligatory to obtain certificates. If you’re not able to attend a webinar, you can watch the recording later and mark it complete in the learning plan.
Final project completion: The programme concludes with a final project, where you'll apply your newly learned AI skills to a real-world problem. You need to complete the final project to obtain a certificate.
Closing Ceremony: The programme ends with a Closing Ceremony, concluding the entire experience.
Certificates sent: Certificates will be sent in 20 days working days after programme completion.
