SC-100: Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect is a four-day, advanced level course that teaches you how to design and evaluate cybersecurity strategies. The topics covered include: Zero Trust, governance risk compliance (GRC), security operations (SecOps), security requirements for cloud infrastructure across various service models (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), and data and applications. To get the most out of this course, you should have significant experience and knowledge of a wide range of security engineering areas and hybrid and cloud implementations.

During this course, you will learn how to design a security strategy and its related architecture considering multiple parameters. You will explore how to evaluate security workflows and security operations for technical threat intelligence. You will extend your knowledge of evaluating regulatory compliance strategy, and discover more about designing a security strategy for privileged role access to infrastructure. Plus, you will learn how to evaluate security posture using different tools, including Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Secure Scores and more.

Additionally, you will develop skills for recommending controls for risk mitigations and setting up a process for proactive and continuous evaluation of security strategies. You will look at how to design a strategy to manage secrets, keys, and certificates, and how to provide secure remote access at server and client endpoints. You will learn to design a strategy to secure PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS services, IoT workloads, and container orchestration. Plus, you will learn how to specify security strategy for the applications, API, and data.

Overall, this course will prepare you for taking the SC-100: Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect certification exam. To become a Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, you also need to gain any one of the following certifications: SC-200/ SC-300/ AZ-500/ MS-500. Entry for these exams is not included. However, you will get a clear overview of the Microsoft certification process, plus you will get the tips and tricks, testing strategies, practice questions and useful information to help you pass the exam successfully.

This course comprises 10 purposely designed modules that take you on a carefully defined learning journey.
