MS-720: Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer is a three-day, advanced level course that prepares you for becoming a Microsoft Teams Voice engineer. In this role you would be responsible for planning, designing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting an organization's integrated communications systems. To take this course, you must be able to translate corporate requirements into communication architecture and designs. It is also recommended that you are familiar with telecommunication technologies and have experience of Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, and PowerShell.
During this course, you will learn how to plan and evaluate a network requirement and configure an environment for Teams Phone; this includes direct routing, auto attendants, call queues, and operator connect. You will explore how to set up PowerShell for Microsoft Teams administration. You will learn how to configure voice policies, audio conferencing settings, and call queues. Plus, you will build skills to manage voice users, configure, deploy, and manage Teams devices, and monitor and troubleshoot Teams Phone.
Overall, this course will prepare you for taking the MS-720: Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer certification exam to gain Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Voice Engineer Expert certification. Entry for the exam is not included. However, you will get a clear overview of the Microsoft certification process, plus you will get the tips and tricks, testing strategies, practice questions and useful information to help you pass the exam successfully.
This course comprises 2 purposely designed modules that take you on a carefully defined learning journey.
It is an instructor-led course which runs to a fixed schedule, with set start and finish dates. It is driven forward by your instructor and features live sessions that are aired at a set time. You will, however, have time to complete certain activities at your own pace outside of the live sessions.
The materials for each module are accessible from the start of the course and will remain available for the duration of your enrollment. Methods of learning and assessment will include reading material, hands-on labs, and online exam questions.
